New Resources Added to Our Site . . .

This last month has seen a LOT of new additions to this missionary resource website.
We’ve been adding resources left and right and in so many different genres that it’s
hard to keep track. So if you haven’t browsed our site recently, now would be a great

Here are a few of our latest and newest additions . . .
1) A New Member Care Consultant

2) Pixabay
I just recently became aware of this website and am very excited about it! Pixabay provides FREE high quality images, so if you’re needing photos for slide shows, brochures, deputation resources, websites or blogs, etc., this site is a great find!
3) AnonyMouse
One of the challenges of living as an expat is that you sometimes need to access websites from you home country that are blocked to international users. This problem can easily be resolved by using an Anonymous Proxy Server.
We used (and love) AnonyMouse . . .

4) Language Learning Apps
As I am needing to learn a new language, and also teach it to my children at the same time, I recently looked into the different language learning apps and came across some real gems . . .
5) “Maximize Your Child’s Bilingual Ability” by Adam Beck
In relation to preparing to teach my kids a new language, I checked out several different books on the subject and found this one to be the best and just had to add it to the list!
6) International Shipping
Under the “Services” category we have added some new options for shipping supplies internationally, including a service we just recently used ourselves called Shipping Worldwide . . .
7) A Microsoft Office Alternative
With all the reports to write, expenses to track, power points to put together, and countless other ministry materials to develop, Microsoft Office is often viewed as an essential tool for missionaries.
Unfortunately it is also extremely expensive, and taking into consideration that many missionaries have a goal of training the nationals and essentially working themselves out of a job, it is important to be able to pass on critical tools which can really cut into the ministry budget when you’re buying multiple licenses for the same program.
LibreOffice is not only a suitable alternative to Microsoft office, but it would be my opinion that it is even a step up and an actual improvement, if you can believe that!
And the best part is – it’s FREE!!
8) Spiritual Warfare Resources
In looking over the contents of our website it suddenly dawned on us that there was very little on the topic of Spiritual Warfare. Being that this is such an important and critical part of Christian missions, we quickly added a whole new page (or category) to our website in order to fill this huge void.

9) Transition Resources
Another new category we’ve added is “Transitions”. Dealing with transition, culture shock, and reverse culture shock, are all a normal part of mission life. This new category on our website lists different resources that can help make these transitions as smooth as possible.

10) Cousin Ministry & Creative Access Resources
If you are working in a “creative access area” or need resources specific to “cousin ministry” we do have some great resources for you, but due to the fact that they are more sensitive materials we list them on a separate, secure site.
